St Peters CofE Primary

About St Peter's

Our school is set in fabulous and spacious grounds in South Bristol. We have three playgrounds and two areas that are specially set up for our Early Years Children. We have allotments, climbing and adventure equipment, an arboretum, a secret garden, large playing fields and our very own cycle track. With two buildings we also have plenty of space inside. We have two halls, a fully fitted cookery room with four cooking station and a relaxing grassed courtyard. Children in the Foundation Stage and KS1 (Infants) are in one building and children in KS2 (Juniors) are in another building. Each building is fully accessible and adapted to meet the needs of the children in that age range. In 2017 we had our ‘Eco Pod’ built which is a new, fun and exciting space for children to learn in – it even has a slide inside!

We are confident that the years that your child spends at St.Peter’s CE VC Primary School will be happy, rewarding and memorable, providing a firm foundation for their future. With a great team of staff and a wonderful community, we know that this is a successful school that provides ‘A World of Opportunities’ for each of our children.

We have our own Nursery (Ducklings). We have provision for 30 part-time places and 15 full-time places. Part of the Nursery provision also includes free access to our Forest School.

We set an exceptionally high standard for academic achievements and children at our school make good progress in all areas of the curriculum. Current Standards in English and Maths are available in Our Key Documents.

Pupils demonstrate the school values of resilience, friendship and forgiveness. They enjoy coming to school and are respectful. They know and understand the school rules of ‘be friendly and respectful, be ready to learn and be safe.
