School Council

Hi there!

The school council help with making important decisions across the school, as well as organising fun, charity-fundraising days throughout the year!

We hold regular meetings to discuss safety, attendance and behaviour in school to give our expert advice which can then be fed back to each of our classes.

We take our jobs very seriously and want to make sure that St Peter’s is the best school it can be: kind, caring, safe, responsible and respectful.

If you ever need to talk to us about the school and how it runs, please come and find us!

The school council is made up of a Head Boy, Head Girl, a school council lead and two children in every class from Year 1 to Year 6.

Children in Need 2017

Councillors clubbed ideas together to create a wonderful day of cakes and spots to raise loads of money for Children in Need! They were on hand to sell delicious cakes (donated by the generous community of St.Peter's), sell raffle tickets and get people smiling throughout the day!

Well done to everyone who donated cakes, worked so hard on the day and helped raise a whopping £700 for those who really are in need!

Monarch Education Garden

During the depths of darkness and cold biting weather, a beautifully colourful and exciting garden was opened, bringing vibrant and vivid designs to the UKS2 playground. What was a redundant space, has been converted into a fun and engaging garden with an old car as a flowerbed - call it a CARden... The garden was designed and donated by Monarch Education absolutely free, and we're sure you'll agree, that it looks utterly fabulous! School Councillors and Eco Warriors were invited to the grand opening and presented Monarch with a handmade card with awesome illustrations of the new garden!
